I have MSI K9NBPM2-FID motherboard, one 500 GB SATA II hard drive and Windows XP. I would like to purchase a second HDD, and enable RAID mirroring in BIOS. I have two questions:
- Is it possible to enable mirroring without reinstalling Windows?
- If I transfered mirrored drive to another mmobo/SATA controller, will it work?
I'm aware of software RAID in XP, but I would like to mirror also system partition.
